About Us

Built from a hospital dream into a home for the whole community

Orione Community Resource Centre began about ten years ago with a bold vision — to bring a hospital to an area where healthcare was hard to reach.

Structural challenges meant the original building needed major rehabilitation, and the facility began operating in its current form roughly six months ago. Along the way the vision grew: rather than a single hospital, this remote corner of Kajiado East needed a broader centre able to serve many needs under one roof.

Today the centre exists to improve healthcare, education, food security and community wellbeing — welcoming everyone who walks through its doors.
